Mercedes has announced the SLS AMG today, the successor to the SLR goes vintage with supercar worthy Gull Wing doors as one of its’ party tricks.
It also boasts a aluminium chassis, a naturally aspirated V8 and 7 speed double clutch automatic gearbox. All in all thisproduces 563bhp at 6800rpm.
In real world terms: 0-62mph in 3.8seconds, 197mph limited top end and an impressive claim of 21mpg’s!
Prices to be announced, suffice to say if you drive a Honda Civic this may not be yournext car unless you strike it gold very soon.
